Ir. Eric Yung has been teaching mathematics for over 20 years. Eric is a graduate of St Paul 's Co-educational college, holder of B.Sc (Hon) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong through the Provisional Acceptance Scheme (暫取生 / 拔尖) and of M.Sc from the National University of Ireland.

Currently, Eric mainly engages in education and research on pedagogy.

 

At ECA Education, Eric is the head tutor of Mathematics programmes. He is in charge of the majority of teaching in the centre. He is the hands-on tutor who cares about each and every student’s performance. Devoting most of his time in education, he provided refined tuition service for students and he hopes that his efforts can turn out to be the significant improvement in students’ school grades.

 

Outside the tuition centre, Eric conducts research on pedagogy, working in collaboration with other education institutes, such as the University of Science and Technology and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). ECA for Future was established by Eric to design and organize learning-oriented study programs for students. Participants in such activities are given a chance to explore new technologies and knowledge. In addition, Eric is taking these opportunities to do experiments for improving current teaching styles. He would like to gather experience and tune his pedagogy, in order to provide better tuition service to students which allows them to learn not only faster, but also wiser.
